C.A. has been in the EIFS and plastering Industry since 1987; he has served as the Senergy representative for the state of South Carolina since 1991. As one of the original Clapca organizers in 1996, he has served several tenures on the Clapca board, most notably as Clapca's Membership Committee chairman from 1999-2004, as well as serving on the Convention Committee from 1999-2003.

C.A. is married to Mary Ellen Mathis Vann and recently celebrated 42 years together.  They have three children  and one grandchild.  His personal interests consist of spoiling his grandchild and enjoying the beautiful waters of South Carolina including Lake Murray, Lake Marion, and the Atlantic Ocean off Hilton Head Island.
