Charlie Smoak - Since 1979, Charlie Smoak has been involved in the construction industry as President of Ace Drywall Inc. In 1992, he expanded into the stucco industry starting Ace Stucco Systems and was a charter member of Clapca in 1996. He served on the Clapca board 1998-99, served as Vice-President in 2000, President in 2001-2002 and Chairman 2003-2004. He is currently serving as chairman again for 2009-2010.

He and his wife Ginger have been married since 1995 and have five children from previous marriages and six grandchildren. Charlie likes boating, golfing and spending weekends with Ginger on the South Carolina coast.

Pete Stewart - Pete has been involved in the lathing and plastering industry in the states of North Carolina and Florida since 1987. His current position as a sales representative for Guaranteed Supply began in December, 1999.

While previous long-term member of both the Painting Contractors of America Association and the Professional Construction Estimators Association, his current tenure with CLAPCA leaves little time for other pursuits. Beginning with CLAPCA in 2000, he has served on the Technical committee as secretary from 2001-2006, on the board from 2001-2006. His current position is as President and a member of the Executive Committee from 2008 to Present.

Todd Keel - Todd brings 36 years of industry experience and is Owner of Upstate Stucco & Stone, LLC. Started in 1998 with a partner, specializing in EIFS, Plaster, and Stone in January 2007 Todd became sole owner. All of Upstates work is performed with US&S employees. Upstate has between 30 to 50 field personnel and projects range in size from $500 to 1,300,000, mostly commercial, institutional, & churches. Upstate Stucco & Stone only does residential for select home builders.

Todds past positions include: EIFS & Stucco Distributor, Regional Sales Rep for EIFS and Plaster & Drywall Project Manager. His professional affiliations include: PCEA, AWCI, CLAPCA, and his CLAPCA Committee or Board experience includes: Vice President, Marketing Committee, Membership Committee, Technical Committee and Web site Chairperson.

Todd is married to Linda and they have four children: Jarrett, Anna, Laura, & Luke. His hobbies are golf and snow skiing.

Bill King -

Carl Lincoln - Carl Lincoln is the Southeastern District Sales Manager for BASF Construction Chemicals, Inc. whose Wall Systems division manufactures materials associated with EIFS and Hard Coat Stucco products

He is a member of CSI, is currently on the Board of Directors of The Carolina Lath and Plastering Association and holds a Certified EIFS Professional (CEP) designation from the Association of the Wall and Ceiling Industry.

Before joining BASF he has held various positions with construction related trade associations throughout the Southeast including President of the Georgia/Alabama Construction Suppliers Association, Executive Vice President of the Home Builders Association of Tennessee and Executive Director of the Florida Atlantic Builders Association.

He is also a Certified Association Executive (CAE) and member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), holds a Master of Arts degree from California University of Pennsylvania and Bachelor of Arts degree from Thiel College (PA).

C. A. Vann - Membership Committee Chair - C.A. has been in the EIFS and plastering Industry since 1987; he has served as the Senergy representative for the state of South Carolina since 1991. As one of the original Clapca organizers in 1996, he has served several tenures on the Clapca board, most notably as Clapca's Membership Committee chairman from 1999-2004, as well as serving on the Convention Committee from 1999-2003.

C.A. is married to Mary Ellen Mathis Vann and recently celebrated 42 years together. They have three children and one grandchild. His personal interests consist of spoiling his grandchild and enjoying the beautiful waters of South Carolina including Lake Murray, Lake Marion, and the Atlantic Ocean off Hilton Head Island.
