Since 1996, Carolina Lathing and Plastering Contractors Association (CLAPCA) has been in the forefront of promoting and defending the plastering industry.  Today, we represent the entire Carolinas lathing and plastering (trowel trades) industry.  We are a collaboration of professional specialty contractors and applicators of lime or gypsum plaster, Stucco, EIFS, Cement board systems, and troweled coating systems over other innovative wall systems such as ICF's and SIP's.  Our membership also includes dedicated suppliers, manufacturers, and design professionals who are committed to the betterment and protection of our industry.

The Carolina Lathing And Plastering Contractors’ Association, Inc. is a trade association formed to represent, educate, and promote our industry.

Our mission is to promote the highest standards of ethics by requiring membership RELIABILITY, ACCOUNTABILITY and CREDIBILITY. This association will enable us to do collectively what the members are unable to do individually.
